Before contacting us, please read.

What you need to do...

  • Decide if our Nursery School is the right place for you and your child.  Read about who we are, what we do and how we do it. Read our Ofsted inspection report. Read our social media feeds.  Find out what local views are.
  • We have a wonderful community of families at our setting who come to us because we are the right place for their child, not just because they need childcare.
  • Complete an Expression of Interest Form - include your email and we will email you our registration document.
  • Read our Admissions Policy - we are open for new registrations.
  • Arrange a visit - meet our team and see our facilities.
  • A registration fee of £50 is required at the time of registering to cover the costs of administering the place (applicable to any place where non-funded hours are planned).
  • A deposit of £100 is required at the time of registering for all funded places from April 2024.  This is refunded if the funded place is taken up.  It is non-refundable if the place is not taken as registered.
  • Non-funded hours vary from £8.00 and £8.50 per hour (depending upon the day/time).
  • Additional charges apply - please read these here.

  • Tuesday 17 December 8am to 4pm - £7.70 per hour
  • Thursday 19 December 8am to 4pm - £7.70 per hour

The maximum number of funded hours per week that can be used at our setting is 20 hours (term-time or stretched).

Additional Consumable Charges
(all children and all funded hours)

We have a range of extra charges that apply to your child's Nursery School place.  Please read about these below.

Food and Drink

We include a breakfast for all children up to 8.50am.

This includes toast and cereals.

The cost of breakfast is included in the consumables fee for the breakfast hour.

We grow our own fruit and vegetables and children will be able to access these throughout the year.

Food and Drink

Parents should provide all food for their child - snacks, lunch and an evening meal.

We do not set mandatory charges for meals and the purchasing of meals is not a condition of accessing a funded place.

Meals can be purchased at £3 per lunch and £4 per evening meal.

We grow our own fruit and vegetables and children will be able to access these for FREE throughout the year.

Sun cream

Parents should cover their child in sun cream at the start of their day. This should be a minimum of factor 50 and waterproof.

Parents are required to pay our sun cream and gloves.  We make a charge of £5 per bottle used on your child during June, July and August.

If we experience additional sunny weather in April and May where sun cream is required, we will inform you in advance.

Parents can provide their own sun cream and gloves for their child.  These must be labelled and plentiful for re-application throughout each day.

Should we have to supply these if they have run out, the charge will be applied.

We are not able to staff an indoor provision at the same time as an outdoor provision due to the nature of our site.

Nappies - personal care

Parents should provide all nappies, wipes, nappy bags and creams that their child may need.

Supplies should be replenished for each time they attend.

We do not hold stocks of nappies, so please ensure that you supply more than enough.

Should we need to supply personal care items, there will be a £1 per occurrence charge.

Consumables

We charge per item/activity for our consumables.  This runs across all funded hours.

This charge covers a wide range of consumables that we provide for which are above and beyond the requirements of the EYFS.  This is what makes our provision unique.

These consumables are linked to our sensory programme for babies, our toddler explorer programme and our pre-school reading and writing programme.

Each term, we inform parents about our curriculum, themes and events, book of the week, and experiences.  Any parent wishing to make alternative arrangements to pay for these items can request to pay for items individually or opt out their of the activity.

We have a full breakdown of items here

Experiences

We charge £2.50 per funded hour for our experiences programme.  This runs across all funded hours.

This charge covers our specialist licences for music and television including Moo Music and our PPL PRS Licence (music).

This also includes consumables (batteries) for our specialist electronic and light-up sensory equipment for our In The Dark sessions, Track Tots, science sessions, electronic learning devices and robots.

Parents will be requested to transport their own children and to use annual/free passes where possible.

We currently don't charge for children to join our Early Reading Programme.  However, we do charge for the Reading Record Book and Phonics Record Book.

The reading book is changed as often as they read.  A charge is made for a contribution to the reading books.
