Extra Optional Activities (applied to funded hours between 9.30am and 2.30pm)

Over the month, your child will participate in a wide range of activities and specialist teaching to the value of the amount paid.  These Extra Optional Activities are charged to and provided for all funded children.

  • Under 2s: With 15 hours of funding per week - maximum charge of £15 per week of Extra Optional Activities.
     
  • 2 to 3s: With 15 hours of funding per week - maximum charge of £45 per week of Extra Optional Activities.
     
  • Over 3s: With 20 hours of funding per week - maximum of £60 per week of Extra Optional Activities.

Easter Event Session

£13 including Easter book and chocolate egg (dairy chocolate).

£15 including Easter book and dairy free chocolate.

Easter Egg Hunt

£3 per child covers the additional resources specific to this event (plastic eggs, hidden treats, printed hunt materials).

Easter Crafts

£3 per child covers a chosen Easter craft item - decorated basket and card.

Easter Baking Session

£15 per child including 3 Easter biscuits or cupcakes to make, bake, decorate and take home.

Specialist Art Teacher

£12.50 working 1:1 for 30 minutes per child.

Thursdays - max 2 sessions per month.

Moo Music Session

£3.50 per child, per session.

Specialist music learning experience and teaching.

Farm Visit

£7.50 per child, including transport charge, insurance, sundries and milkshakes!

£3 extra for an ice cream.

Live Caterpillars

£4.00 per child

Minimum of 10 caterpillars with observation kit and butterfly house.

Hungry Caterpillar

£7.50 per child

Tasting of all of the food in the Hungry Caterpillar story including melon, ice cream, cherry pie etc.

Planting Sunflower Seeds

£2.50 per child

Sunflower seeds growing (pot, soil and seeds)

Trips

£2.50 per child, per trip, including insurance and sundries.

Trips out include visiting the Library, local town amenities, taking a local bus and local park.

Entrance fee costs are extra.

Sensory Garden

£2.50 per child, per trip including insurance and sundries.

Specialist outdoor learning experiences and teaching.

Reading Programme

£45 (£15 per week) including specialist phonics teaching, changing of reading books, listening to the child read 1:1, reading record and phonic record books.

There are no requirements in the EYFS to teach your child to read.  We teach your child to read in our Oak Room.  This is provided through our specialist Reading Programme – reading books, reading record, phonics resources are provided.

St George's Day Biscuit

Making an iced and decorated biscuit.

£2.50 per child

Under 2s Football Coaching

£2.50 per child, per football coaching session.

Approx 15mins to 30mins of football coaching.

Only suitable for under 2s alongside funded hours.
