Knowledgeshare and Training Policy

The Tots' Clubhouse Nursery School Knowledgeshare Policy

We are committed to providing high quality childcare.  In order to do this, we recruit, train and develop staff within teams and across the business.  We need versatile staff who know all of the children and who can adopt multiple roles where necessary.

We provide a wide range of opportunities including class-based learning, online learning and on-the-job-training for staff to learn and develop.  We work will individual staff and teams to identify gaps in skills and knowledge, and to identify the most effective training methods.

Our Knowledgeshare and Training Policy sets out what we aim to achieve, how we aim to achieve it and how we ensure it is effective.

Our key objectives for success:

We intend to have a knowledgeable and experienced staff team.

Our Development Needs Analysis process enables the identification of gaps in knowledge and experience.  We review this during supervisions.

We implement regular staff training.

We have access to Early Years training via the DfE, Warwickshire Early Years and private/public sector training providers.

We measure the impact of knowledge sharing across our staff teams.
