What you need to do...

  • We have a wonderful community of families at our setting who come to us because we are the right place for their child, not just because they need childcare.
  • Complete an Expression of Interest Form - include your email and we will email you our registration document.
  • Read our Admissions Policy - we do not currently have a waiting list.
  • Arrange a visit - meet our team and see our facilities.
  • A registration fee of £50 is required at the time of registering to cover the costs of administering the place (applicable to any place where non-funded hours are planned).
  • A deposit of £100 is required at the time of registering for all funded places.  This is refunded when the funded place is taken up.  It is non-refundable if the place is not taken as registered.
  • Non-funded hours will be £8.00 per hour.
  • Additional service charges apply - please read these here.

Working Parent 15 Hours Funding - a term after your child reaches 9 months to the term after they are 2 years old.

Only book the hours that you need.

Our charges are set for the period of opening from 2 September to 13 December 2024.  Charges are shown as excluding VAT.

Funded hours are applied to all absences.  If at least two (2) weeks notice is given for a holiday / day off, we do not charge our fees for these periods of planned absence. Fees apply to sickness and all other absences.

Curriculum Enhancement Charges

We charge a Curriculum Enhancement Charge as an additional service to cover the costs of our pedagogical leadership - this means that we pay additional highly qualified, trained and experienced staff to plan and support all children in their learning and development. This includes staff qualified from Level 5 to Level 8 including staff with NPQEYL, a fully qualified teacher with 26 years of experience, an Early Years Teacher (in training) and a qualified Art Teacher.  We also offer one-to-one learning support and high staff to child ratios within our rooms at specified times.

The Curriculum Enhancement Charge is an additional service.  This is paid per learning session between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm.   The morning learning session is 9.30am to 12noon and the afternoon session is from 12noon to 2.30pm. This added to the invoice separately for a full session or pro-rata.  This charge is not a condition of accessing a funded place.  However, funded only places will be provided as per the EYFS ratios and EYFS curriculum.  None of the enhanced curriculum will be applied to the child's place.

Additional Charges
(all children and all funded hours)

We have a range of extra charges that apply to your child's Nursery School place.  Please read about these below.

Food and Drink
Breakfast

We provide a free of charge breakfast for children until they claim their over 3s funding -  up to 8.50am.

For children over 3, this is charged within the breakfast hourly rate.

This includes toast and cereals.

We grow our own fruit and vegetables and children will be able to access these throughout the year.

Food and Drink
Lunch / Dinner

We do not provide lunch or dinner unless these are paid for.

Parents should provide all food for their child - snacks, lunch and an evening meal.

We do not set mandatory charges for meals and the purchasing of meals is not a condition of accessing a funded place.

Meals can be purchased at £3 per lunch and £4 per evening meal.

We grow our own fruit and vegetables and children will be able to access these for FREE throughout the year.

Sun cream

We do not provide sun cream.

Parents should cover their child in sun cream at the start of their day. This should be a minimum of factor 50 and waterproof.

Parents are required to pay our sun cream and gloves.  We make a charge of £5 per bottle used on your child during June, July and August.

If we experience additional sunny weather in April and May where sun cream is required, we will inform you in advance.

Parents can provide their own sun cream and gloves for their child.  These must be labelled and plentiful for re-application throughout each day.

Should we have to supply these if they have run out, the charge will be applied.

We are not able to staff an indoor provision at the same time as an outdoor provision due to the nature of our site.

Nappies - personal care

We do not provide nappies, wipes, nappy bags or creams for personal care.

Parents should provide all nappies, wipes, nappy bags and creams that their child may need.

Supplies should be replenished for each time they attend.

We do not hold stocks of nappies, so please ensure that you supply more than enough.

Should we need to supply personal care items, there will be a £1 per occurrence charge.

Special Event Consumables

We charge per item/activity for our consumables.  This runs across all funded, non-funded hours and out of hours.

This charge covers a wide range of consumables that we provide for which are above and beyond the requirements of the EYFS.  This is what makes our provision unique e.g. Christmas Dinner, Reindeer Experience, Baking Day.

These consumables are linked to our sensory programme for babies too, our toddler explorer programme and our pre-school reading and writing programme.

Educational Visits

We charge per educational visit - entrance charge, sundries charge , transport.  This runs across all funded and non-funded hours.

Parents will be requested to transport their own children, where necessary, and to use annual/free passes where possible.

Reading Programme

We currently don't charge for children to join our Early Reading Programme.  However, we do charge for the Reading Record Book and Phonics Record Book. This is included in the over 3s experience charge.

We provide all over 3s with a reading record book, phonics book and reading book.

The reading book is changed as often as they read.  A charge is made for a contribution to the reading books.

If a parent does not want their child to take part in this programme, there will be a deduction of £12 from the specialist tuition fee.
