The Tots' Clubhouse Nursery School staffing ratios are provided within the table below. Staffing ratios relate to indoor, outdoor and off-premises activities. We have maximum numbers of children for group and classroom activities based on our space sizes and the nature of the activity. We plan for these ratios to be the minimum requirement to deliver the EYFS curriculum and in-the-moment planning.
Please note that we plan staff to children ratios based on age because that is what we are required to do. However, we may not group children by age. We will work with you to consider how best to meet the needs of your child and their development stage. For example, if your child is older and needs additional support or your child is younger and would benefit from being with older children, we will consider all options with you.
For off-site activities, we will request additional support from parents as volunteers. Volunteer DBS checks will be required.
