Our learning environment is set-up to represent the key learning areas of the EYFS.
We provide core areas each day, for independent exploration, that meet the learning objectives of the EYFS.

We have a core area for communication and language development. This will focus on interactions, exploring language, listening and understanding.
We have a core area for physical development. Indoors, we will focus on developing fine motor skills. We will have specific sessions for core strength, coordination and gross motor skills.
We have a core area for PHSE learning. This will be linked to emotions, sense of self and relationships.
We have a core area for literacy learning. This will be linked to comprehension, exploring words and mark making.
We have a core area for maths learning. This will be linked to numbers, patterns and connections, and spatial reasoning.
We have a core area for Understanding the World. This will link to personal experiences, our diverse world and widening vocabulary.
We have a core area for imagination and creativity, self-expression and communication through the arts.
