A maximum of 21 places for 3 to 4 year olds, 9 places for 2 to 3 year olds and 12 places for under 2s will be provided, subject to staffing and facilities availability. The numbers and ages of the children admitted will comply with the legal space and staff to child ratio requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We are currently only offering 'free funded places' to children who are eligible to claim the disadvantaged 2-year old funding, Early Years Pupil Premium, Deprivation Factor or Disability Access Fund payments. If you are eligible for this place, your additional fees are waived. All other funded places are subject to our additional charges.
The number of children on roll will be larger due to the nature of the flexible childcare available.
A refundable registration fee of £100 is required (for under 2s funded places), which is non-refundable if the place is not taken up. A non-refundable registration fee of £35 is required (for non-funded places). This covers the administration of registration, our time for your visit to the facilities and meeting staff.
Pay As You Go (PAYG) childcare will also need to be registered and a non-refundable registration fee of £35 is required. This is a one-off. PAYG hours are purchased as and when.
Once a child is registered, parents will be informed when a place is available.
Parents may register their child at any age on the understanding that completion of this process and payment, does not constitute a contract for admission.
Upon oversubscription and operation of a waiting list, we will take the following into consideration and prioritise on the basis of:
Children admitted will automatically transfer into the subsequent age group session and pre-school provision. Additional hours will be accommodated where possible.
Our inclusion and equality policy ensures that all children have access to a nursery place and services irrespective of their gender, race, disability, religion or belief, or sexual orientation of parents.
The Nursery School Director reserves the right to close and re-open the application process as required.
Subject to availability, we provide funded places for all children in line with government and Local Authority regulations.
The Tots’ Clubhouse Nursery School will also offer PAYG non-funded sessions and will advertise these sessions as they become available. Children will be admitted to these sessions on a first come first served basis. These will be publicly advertised spaces as and when available.
Any complaints regarding our Admissions Process should be made in accordance with our Complaints Policy.
